Great grandma and Great grandpa and TJ!

Josie

Our good friends recently welcomed a new addition into their family. Little baby Josie. She is 3 weeks old and was due right about the same day as TJ. So hence they are about the same size and already best friends. The picture below is their first date together at Roosters. Emily and Josie at her welcoming party!!!!

Devin's Visit

We had a great visit with Thad's son Devin. He came for two weeks and it was a blast. It looks like he will be coming back for all of July and part of August so we are excited for that as well. This picture is of the 5k Dirty Dash (Mud obstacle course) Of course he went golfing with Thaddeus and my dad a few times. Apparently he is a natural!

Devin had a great time with his little brother. Here he is feeding him!

Hanging out together at great grandma's house!

Outfits

I received so many cute outfits from family and friends. Here are a few of my many looks since being home....I am getting so big. My mom thinks I am about 6 pounds now!

Visitors...

Although my parents were told to keep me fairly sequestered for a while I have been able to have some special family and friends come and see me. This is going to be one of my best friends Hannah and her parents. My uncle Josh and soon to be Aunt Ashley.

My great grandma June loving on me!

My great grandpa saying HI!

My cousin Leentje

My cousin Cole who is very excited to read to me and help me learn with his flash cards.

My uncle Caleb and cousin Emma. Emma is only 6 months older than me and soon enough we will be great playmates!!!

Homeward Bound

I was able to come home on 05/04/2011. Although it was a very short trip home my mom still stopped half way and made sure I was doing okay in my car seat, :)

Fearfully and wonderfully made.

Visitors in the NICU

This is our first family photo. Because I was in the NICU. I was only able to have a few visitors....
My mom's cousin Sally.

I was a little bummed because my aunt Natalie was out of town for my extended stay in the NICU. She was able to see me on my birthday before she flew out on a plane to Haiti.

My grandpa Robert (who I am named after)
My great grandma June.

My grandma Robin.

My family was so nice to come and visit me in the NICU. I loved them to hold me and help feed me, change me, and check my temperature.

My life in the NICU!!!

Overall I stayed 12 days in the NICU. My nurses were all amazing. I was doing so well that I was only on oxygen for a week and then I just had to get all my food through a bottle and not my nose before they would let me go home.

One day my jaundice levels were a little too high so I was able to hang out under the lights or as mom would say "getting a tan"

Daddy burping me. (his hand is way bigger than my head)

Just chilling or should I say staying warm in my isolette.

April 22, 2011

I wanted to start this new blog to chronical our new miracle. God has blessed us with the gift of a beautiful perfect baby boy. Our amazing little boy Thaddeus Robert came into this world 4 1/2 weeks early on 4/22/2011 at 11:57 am weighing 5 lbs. 5.5 ounces and 18 inches long. Because he was so early he had to have a little help in the breathing and eating department for the first couple weeks. These two pictures are the first time mom and dad got to hold me in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
Once I was settled in to the NICU!

My first picture!!! This was seconds after I was born and had a little oxygen help.
